I have had 2 operations one in 2013 one in 2014 last op was 11 months ago I'm having bleeds again but asked them to examine me January said they all been removed does the bleeding mean I got more but maybe high up

    Hi Maria,

    If you have intestinal bleeding that's not due to piles, you should see a gastroenterologist.  Usually the diagnostic tests are relatively benign.

      Asked my nurse at Dr today she said I could be prone to bleeding now and colour sounds healthy but still worry's me

    Bleeding could be the result of an ulcer or, in the worst case, colon cancer.  I think bright red blood usually implies something other than cancer but it's better to have the tests and know for certain.  Also, bleeding can result in anemia so you should find out what's going on (my personal non-professional opinion).

      Yes she said would send me for another camera if it don't stop gonna see how it goes had an examination end of January and said couldn't feel no more heomoriods but could be high up x
