Hello,

After hitting a new low today I am about to start taking fluoxetine after having them sit in the cupboard for two week.

I have had depression on and off for most of my adult life (I am 37), I have been on medication before but really dont want to be on it and so have been resisiting it but today I realised that if I want to get better I will have to start taking them.

I am pleased I have found this website and its a comfort to find others that have the same thoughts and fears.

Here goes smile

    Welcome Sunshine or Rain

Lets hope after taking flu for a while you'll call yourself just Sunshine!

I was scared stiff of taking flu, like you i didn't want to be on AD's but i'm pleased i started.

Everyone on here is great, any thoughts and feelings just post on here and generally some will have felt the same.

    Hope your day gets better
