Herpes?

I noticed this sore this morning and I thought it was a pimple. It's sore to touch but feels very much like a bad ingrown hair. Initially it really looked like genital herpes to me but now it looks more like possible ingrown hairs. If it is herpes I'll deal with it but tell me what you think. This is on my inner thigh where the edge of my panties would sit. The first image is how it looked this morning and the second image is as of now.

based off what I've researched it's highly possible, I am having a scare but it doesnt look this bad.

Initially it was more like an ulcer but in less than a day it seems like a cluster of ingrown hairs.

theres always a possibility it could be herpes, but it may be something completely different! so dont freak out, i would get tested and see what your doctor says 😃

I already get cold sores so I'm gonna watch for how it heals. If it heals like a normal ingrown hair I'll be relieved, but if it scabs up the way cold sores do I'll check out my local urgent care.

I got tested today. She said it mainly looked like an irritated hair bump . I get my results back by the end of the week. I did alert my recent partners just to be safer than sorry and its causing some anxiety of course. I'm more scared now of losing a relationship that I have sorta developed than of the whole GH thing. He seems to be understanding but I can certainly feel the distance already since I told him. 😦
