Im pregnant & I've been having a massive itch & symptoms of a yeast infection ... my doc prescribed me canesten (came with cream) without confirming it was was really a yeast infection. .. now I have like blisters in my genital area... they weren't puss filled or crusted over . They just turned into blisters and look like a cold sore that you would have In your mouth... and there's only a few ... and there not all in the same spot... and now I have like 3 around my anus ... (lol) but they also look like the cold sores and feel like boil's... but the ones in my genital area healed very quickly.. BTW I'm a very clean person and I wipe rather hard.. especially my rectal and vaginal area...Help please.. still waiting for HSV test resultsand maybe a few tips for easing the pain and easier ways to sleep. I haven't had a full night of sleep in days.. ??

Your test results will tell you for sure what's really going on. Hopefully they aren't Herpes, I had them forming around the top of my C and thought they were the only ones until I took a "better look" down there and saw many more... it was AWFUL I tell you. So embarassing.. I hesitated talking about it to my fiance in fear of putting him off. I highly recommend salt baths as these can be great in alleviating the pain I would even take a book with me when I'd have one just to help ease my stress levels and not think about the outbreak, apply a semi-frozen towel down there (I put a small towel in the freezer for 15-20mins) wrap a paper towel around it and apply it to take the heat/itch away it soothes it all down really well expecially when I'm super tired and want to sleep (I couldn't even sleep from the pain of my first outbreak), sleeping with legs apart and raised is also helpful to ensure a comfortable position when you have that uncomfortable tingly feeling... if you're taking medication keep at it and you should be okay. Best of luck on your journey to recovery, and remember if you do test positive for Herpes it's just another skin condition at a really inconvenient area smile
