Herpes outbreak? Not so sure. Really worried?!

So I thought I was having another herpes outbreak but now I’m beginning to panic. I am almost certain they’re not.

I’ve been sexually active with my partner for 2 months now. I had STD/STI checks when I first had an outbreak and everything came back negative and it was confirmed I had genital herpes. After antiviral medication, that cleared and I was okay. 

5 days ago I had rough sex with my partner. The following day I was sore and tender but thought nothing of it. 2 days after I had a look in the mirror and I have  a cluster of pink lumps around the entrance of my vagina. Probably about 6/7mm in size. They do not hurt and I have no pain when urinating. These have been visible for 4 days now. I haven’t had sex because I’ve no clue what they are! 

Anybody know what it could be?

    Herpes should be painful. 

    I think you know coz you had an OB before. 

    If the lumps are the same and no change for days and not painful so i think its not herpes. 

    Do you use condom?

      My partner and I don’t use condoms, but we felt no need to having both been tested for STIs and STDs and coming back negative.

      I’ve just had a trip to the GUM clinic to be told that it’s not herpes and there’s nothing there. Now I’m so confused!

      So why you said it was confirmed you have herpes?!!

      Because I was diagnosed with herpes when I went to get tested in April, when I had my first outbreak. 

      I booked an appointment today to see what was going on. Since Monday I noticed that I had lumps, so I went to get it checked out seen as it displayed nothing like my first outbreak of herpes, nor did it hurt when I urinated or in general. 

      Turns out I’m not having another herpes outbreak though I obviously do carry the virus, as shown by my first outbreak!!!

      But you dont use condom. 

      So you not afraid your man gets herpes from you?

      Did he test negative for herpes and when?

      Actually my dr told me no need for condom if i dont have OB

      My partner got tested at the time I got tested positive. It came up negative so he was fine.

      I would never have sex with my partner knowing that I’m having an outbreak.

      Yes im sure you will never do. 

      But it is known that herpes can be transmitted even if you dont have OB and sometimes while using condom!

      But you gave me hope now that you dont use condom and your man is safe.
