Herpes test negative at 14 weeks

Hi, I had a sexual encounter with a male in Feb this year and I have been worried that I have contracted herpes ever since. We didn't have sex as we didn't have a condom but our genital did touch but if I remember rightly it wasn't for long. I live in the uk and I had herpes tests done. I had one done at 6, 9, 11 and 14 weeks and all results were the same type 1 <0.01 and="" type="" 2="">< 0.0500 on all 4 tests.

thanks

Since your tests are type-specific, I'm guessing they're for IgG antibodies, in which case you're negative. No change in your index values and still negative after 3 months, plus your encounter was low risk.

No, you're good if the tests were for IgG antibodies. You should be positive by now, if you were infected, and at the very least, your scores would have shown an upward trend, which they don't.
