i think i have herpes and my doctor put me on valacyclovir even though my blood tests said negative. ive never been on a prescription before and when i ran out i called the pharmacy for a refill and they said theyll have to notify my doctor and never called back. since i stopped taking the medication the sores keep crusting for a bit and then turning into bumps and then breaking over and over again im so tired and im so scared. i dont know how to handle this and i cant tell my mom or dad about it. im stressed. recently ive been feeling am itch on my buttocks and today i took a picture. does it look like the herpes may have spread or is it just regular body acne? i have no idea whats happening anymore.
first image is the sores on my vagina that i believe is herpes
second is the body acne i think?
im not evensure the valacyclovir was working to begin with. maybe i need a different medication from my doctor? i havent called her because i dont want my mom to notice on the insurance that i went in for in appointment because she will question me.

maybe, the sores are painful though, and i read that molloscum is not

a swab taken from them would b a better option

sometimes if u have a blood test early it can b a false negative because it can take a few months for antibodies to show in a blood test

i know how you feel and trust me you will be okay. continue with the medication, keep the sores clean and dry (warm salt water and hairdryer) eat healthy food, vitamin c, lysine supplements if you can. this time will pass and you will be okay!

ive been feeling so sick about the entire situation and this was really comforting to read. thank you, really. when the sores heal, do they just stay on the skin as bumps? because that's what it looks like. it doesnt seem like the bumps go away, they just heal from being open it looks like.

herpes clears up usually within 14 days but can be a bit longer if its a first outbreak it sounds more like molloscum than herpes

ive been having these bumps since july. they were bumps then broke open and its just cycle over and over again. i posted two pictures, does the first picture i posted of my vagina look like it? if its herpes like im thinking this would be my first outbreak

and when the bumps are there they do not look like the images of molloscum, they look more like big cysts that easily break

in that case u need to have another test to be sure if u had a negative in the past have a swab taken instead
