Hi there I've created a Website covering my recovery from Hallux Valgus Surgery

Posted , 7 users are following.

Im sorry im not the most fluent with my well written words but I've created a website with some handy tips before going for surgery and also what to expect after. I've not fully completed it as I just was setting it up last night but hopefully it will give some other people thats had the surgery insight on what to expect.

Hopefully it helps! Also happy to answer any questions which people may have

If anyone would like to add any content to my website with their own experience and a couple of photos I would be grateful. It just so far is about me but would be good to have another 2 or 3 peoples on the website. Going along with this surgery it may sound silly but you need to read up on it as I found my Doctors/NHS not exactly helpful in what to expect also peoples healing times vary so just to give you a idea.

Thank you if you do and thanks to the people who have already viewed my website.

    Hi Paul

just a simple question,  how long you needed to use pain medication at night

I am 5 weeks post surgery and still cannot manage a night without strong slow release medicaiton  This is no drama but I am just curiouse how other people managed

    Many thanks

Hi Mish, it seems to vary with everyone. But if you are still in need of the strong painkillers then I would imagine your specialist would say it's ok providing there is nothing else causing the pain like infection. This should show up at your check up though. Your Gp should be able to check this out if you can't get to the hospital. Good luck
