I had my HIDA at 9am and results at noon: 99% ejection fraction. Doc says this is entirely normal. I am still having upper right quadrant pain, loose bowels, nausea, vertigo/dizzy, and bloating and gas.
Has anyone else had a test like this and ultimately had GB removed? I know I’m not a doctor but I’m quite certain it’s the GB the HIDA scan resulted in terrible pain for me (when I drank the vanilla shake I was in such awful pain) and I was certain this would finally get some results.
I’m so sad that this journey isn’t over

I'm pretty sure an ejection rate over 65% and under 35% isn't normal. I would see about getting another opinion because you're obviously miserable.

It's supposed to be an old wives tale but half a lemon pulp and juice in a warm quarter cup of olive oil to emulsify the lemon flushes the gall bladder. That is if you are prepared to drink that vile concoction.
It is not an old wives tale that it does flush the gall bladder which I suppose is down to the rapid reaction of the gall bladder to the olive oil. I do not know what the lemon component does but it may be thought to cut the fat
component of the oil. This method is fully investigated and you are advised to reasearch that on the net where a lot of USA health conscious individuals seem fully aware of that method.
Many USA individuals are also aware that ursodioxycholic acid will dissolve cholesterol gall stones and 'sludge'. This is also a subject that is fully researched by them on the internet........ This however is most definitely not an old wives tale but is a scientific clinical fact that has been researched for many years.

I think your Dr studied on the moon. Did he look like he could have been in Men In Black? That's not normal👎
