i 'm going through a lot of s**t this week , my bloodwork came back negative for STDS. my pap revealed i have a yeast and bacterial infection yet , I have painful sores that itch , they hurt so bad i couldnt walk , I do have a chunjy discgarge with it all. i have an appointment with my gyno monday, i was sooo nervous i couldnt wait and went to an urgent care, they said it looked like hsv 2 and did the swab, i was in soooo much pain they couldnt do the other test . im really scared that it was a false negative and maybe too early:( , i have been really stressed this week and seems like i cant catch a break , ive had nunerous breakdowns because i fear its mainly herpes.

Unfortunately blood test can be unreliable for herpes as it takes some time for your body to produce antibodies against the virus which is what is tested for.

It does sound a lot like a herpes outbreak, hopefully you won't have to wait long for the swab result and it's good that the meds are helping.

Try not to get yourself too worked up, it's not a nice diagnosis but it's also not the end of the world and you can have a perfectly normal life.

Happy to answer any questions 😃
