Hot Flash?! Who knows ugh!

Hello everyone, so my husband and I went for a walk tonight....I looked down at the sidewalk for a second and felt dizzy and then my feet felt wet, I was in sandals and the feeling went all the way up my body. Is this a hot flash? I have never had one so I am so confused. Ugh! This peri stuff is messing me up.

What you're describing sounds like a cold flash completely different from a hot flash. A hot flash is when you feel super hot! It can also feel like your burning up on different parts of your body as well as all over, and in some women will start to sweat either mild or profusely to the point where you have to change either clothing and bedsheets.

Yes, Becky a cold flash is a part of peri also. You will feel lots of odd sensations as you go through the transition and it's no piece of cake!

I really don't think its dermatitis. That would be from an allergin and I haven't changed shampoos or hair products. My skin has become dry also, so I think my scalp has also become dry as well

The hot flashes are awful - I never had them when I was in menopause but I sure have them now - not pleasant by any means - I don't get them during the day - only at night when I should be sleeping

Luckily, I dont have night sweats, and sleep very well. However during the day, I sweat all the time but I will settle for this because I work a lot and cannot afford to be tired and useless. I told my coworkers that I cannot wait to see the snow this year. I'm going to bury my face in a snowdrift!

Usually hot flushes happen from shoulders upwards ( I did say usually ladies lol) this could of been where you just looked down to quick if it's the first and only time I wouldn't worry to much , but if it keeps happening go see your doctor . It could be something as BPPV
