How can I get rid of red veins or general redness?

Posted , 5 users are following.

I had a circumcision 2 years ago and shortly after that I noticed redness on the underside of the head. It doesn't hurt, itch or cause any discomfort but I don't like the way it looks. It looks like some sort of bruising and there are some tiny red veins visible, no longer than half a centimeter. I tried using moisturizer and some sort of ointment for irritated skin but it didn't seem to do anything so I didn't stick with it.

Other information: not sexually active, regular masturbation.

Thanks

It's hard to say without a pic, but sorry, I suspect there probably isn't anything you can do.  Would be interested to see if anyone else can suggest anything.

I'm curious, how old are you and why did you get circumcised?

      19. Because I was born with tight foreskin. It was a purely medical reason.

Did you try stretching or steroid creams before considering circumcision?  Are you happy with the results?  (some men are very happy and wish they'd done it sooner, and some men wish they hadn't done it at all)

I'm not sure there's much you can do about the redness, but it may not be anything unusual.  Everyone is different down there, and there's more variation in the genitals (male or female) than any other part of the body.

I wish it wouldn't have been necessary. I would rather have a healthy foreskin than no foreskin at all. It was a severe case though, not just 'a little tight', and I trust my doctors made the right call. I'm just happy all the main troubles are a thing of the past.

Sterois cream wouldn't have been effective and stretching is not an official medically prescribed process in my country. This was the only effective solution I believe, but once again, I wish I was born without any troubles at all.

Hello. You say that you were born with tight foreskin. Most guys are born with nonretractable foreskins that are fully attached to the glans and how many years it takes until the foreskin is possible to retract varies from person to person.
