How do you know if you need your Zoloft upped?

I've been on Zoloft for almost four weeks now & haven't had any follow ups with any doctors ever since the first day I've taken it. I'm currently on 25mgs for mild depression & anxiety. The second week on a Monday until Wednesday the symptoms subsided & I felt better & it crashed ever since. I feel like it's not doing anything for me now. Should I go up to 50?

Yes it is, that's why I think maybe I need to be upped. I'm a tiny little thing though. I weigh 90 & my height is 4'11. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel but after that crash I feel worse.

You should go back to your doctor. You shouldn't increase without your doctors advice, 25 may not be working for you

See that's what is getting me, I can't see my doctor until a month because she's so booked & if it's not working then I'll be stuck like this not feeling any better.

Can you go to the ER or a walk in clinic? They can probably help you out. I posted yesterday that I was on day 14 of 150 and I think they're starting to work for me but last night I got really bad with anxiety and today feels like the worse day yet

hi amber, just read your post after I posted mine.In my opinion from reading a lot of ther experiences with there dosage, some are okay on 25mgs others are 50mg or 75mg,100mg and 200mg.In my case I'm on 100mg Zoloft and my Dr asked me yeesterday did I want to decrease the dose. My gut feeling was not at this stage as it is my 14day today and going well with a light hopefuully at the end of the tunnel.(haha I'm a young 62 year old).My advice to you would be to revisit your Dr as I have been doing and not increase your dose by yourself, although I've read a lot of people do.you are on a very low dose 25mg so if you are not feeling any better then it really needs to be increased.Good luck and take care!

Wow you are small, now cute ?? I'm 6'3" and have often wondered if I should take more, due to my size. In the depths of winter I am up to 175 mg, in summer I am down to 25/0mg. I think in your case it's best to go with a 25mg increase at a time. Yes do it go for the 50 ??
