How to tell if the acid from my stomach has eventually stopped backing up into my esophagus?

I struggled from acid reflux since last Friday and the feeling of something in my throat and chest burning sensation have gone but I still need to continue my medicines. How can I know if acid reflux has ended, in other words stomach acid has stopped coming up into my esophagus?

Hi Maureen.  I had it done on the nhs so have no idea how much it would but if your ill there is no reason why you can't have it done on the nhs
