I have been irritated down there for over a month now, it started with a single little cut/tear in the crease of my vulva that didnt hurt unless touched and didn't hurt to urinate. I was a bit dry down there but there wasn't much pain/itching. I didn't have swollen glands/fever or any flu like symptoms. and ever since I have had tiny little irritated patches of skin in different places down there, they never burn when I go to the toilet only when I touch them and are always in the creases. I have had irritation down there constantly since the first cut happened and it goes away for like a day when I use thrush cream. I have recently come off birth control as well. When I went to the doctors there was no visible sores and she just said it was from the wash I was using down there as I am very sensitve down there (can't use tampons/pads) but I have now stopped using the wash and the irritation that feels like little raw skin/tiny cuts all over one side of my vulva in the crease has come back. Can HSV last this long/come back this many times in such a short amount of time? I have only gone around 3 days in the whole month without any irritation present?

    so I have been sorta having the same issue. mostly irritation. It did start off with cuts on my clit. and inflammation. I got tested a few different times up to 5 months. all came back negative. no yeast or bv. got biopsy and all they got from that was irritation and inflammation. gave me a bunch of different creams. but none really worked. so its been about 8 months now. with no real answer. so I'm waiting to hit a year mark. get a new gyno and get tested one last time.

    hello,

    i had issues with little cuts near my vaginal opening, like patches of friction burn. They did not go away for months and steroid creams helped a little but didn't heal them completely. Getting a biopsy to test for Behcets' which is what my gyno suggested. However, my mum said she had tears/legions whilst being pregnant with me/after pregnancy also and hers were due to a hormonal imbalance. So the pill and hormones in it may have something to do with it. Hope this helps.

      also sex has been very painful because of these tears as theyre painful when pressure is applied!

      and herpes definitely cannot last that long.

      i was wondering what are those bumps on the side of your lips? because i also have them as well and im scared.
