Hsv herpes select results could be false positive?

My last potential exposure to hsv2 was 3 months ago. A couple days ago I took a blood test (herpesselect elisa). I have not had any outbreaks but have symptoms that could be hsv2 such as irritation and redness. My gyno told me I tested postitive for hsv and perscribed me valtrex 2x a day for 10 days. However, my test results stated that I tested positive for igm at 1.12, and the igg for hsv1 and 2 were both negative. Considering that many low igm positives could be false, how accurate would my results be? I do not have a history of hsv1 which I know causes most of the false positves since the igm does not detect whether it is 1 or 2. Also my doctor told me to retest after the medication. How would valtrex affect test results? And would the igg test have shown accurate results after 3 months? Thanks
