Hsv1 On Genitals

I was diagnosed with hsv1 on my genitals and I accept it and im ready to move on with my life. I guess my question is what all can I do sexually without passing it on?? Ik hsv 1 is oral but I didnt get cold sores, I got it on my anus and vagina lip from oral sex so does that mean its only contagious from my vagina or can it still be passed from kissing someone or if i give them oral sex ??? What can I do or have my partner do so they wont get it ?

    you can only pass it through kissing if you have a mouth cold sore or if you feel like your getting one. So if your mouth feels normal you'll be fine. Type 1 on the genitals is better than type 2 I believe.

      ok but my first outbreak was on my genitals , I didnt get a cold sore. So can i spread it to someone if they give me oral being that my outbreak was on my genitals???? I dont have nor have i gad any cold sores so kissing is ok ??

      if someone goes down on you and gives you oral and you have sores on your genitals or if you are on the verge of an outbreak (you feel tingling sensation or itchy) you can give them type 1 herpes. But the chances of you having another outbreak on your genitals is a lot less than if you had type 2. Kissing is okay even if it's still on your genitals as long as your mouth does not have a cold sore.
