HSV2 sex without condom

Ive been doing research and there is not a lot of information about sex while having HSV besides always wearing a condom. I have been on antivirals for 2 months now since my diagnosis and I have also not been having sex. Im just wondering about the future when I decide to have a family or kids or even when I just want to have sex with a future partner. What is the risk of transmitting HSV2 without condoms/while on antivirals? Do you guys have any experience or are you in a relationship where you have herpes and your partner does not? Im not looking forward to sex any time soon but this has been on my mind heavy .. Im also allergic to latex lol and they say those are the most effective condoms so what other kind could I use if any. Anyways give me you alls thoughts opinions and experience with sex while being positive with HSV2. THANKS ! ❤️

    I've been in relationships/have had sex with people and never passed it on to them, but theres always a risk associated with it. i would do some research or talk to a doctor. i think when you first get it, thats the time when it will be easier to spread because you dont have antibodies built up yet? dont take this as fact, this is just what ive heard i think. ive been taking valacyclovir for about 3 years now and i would say it helps a lot as i havent spread it to any of the partners ive been with (ive done it raw a good amount of time), but they should always know theres a risk.
