Hypochondriac!

I am so thankful for this group! I have a different ache or pain every day and have learned to steer clear of WebMD as it heightens my anxiety because I've got a different disease everytime I log in! Lol. Nice to know I'm not the only one feeling this way! My mom thinks I'm a hypochondriac now and that makes me feel bad sad

Then we all are!  Lol Even though from most of the women's posts on here, they didn't suffer with health anxiety prior to this mess, me included.  I know it's very difficult but calming yourself and keeping away from those websites will help.  I have started taking powdered magnesium in a glass of water at night and it has calmed me down, and is good for lots of other things in the body, but just that it calms me, helps everything else.  No harm in trying.

Welcome to my world.  I guess your mom didn’t go through it like we are.  Coming on this forum is the only place I will go.  And every once in a while there will be a post that sounds just like me and some make me laugh, which i love.

Hi Robin, I have developed health anxiety with my perimenopause its the most awful thing, I can diagnose my self with 10 different conditions in one day! I wish I had never started googling I now know of so many conditions I had never even heard of before. Its exhausting, I am better than I was at first, I had so many trips to A&E thinking I was dying and so many doctors visits. I even changed my GP practice because I didn't believe the doctors at my old one.  So many women seem to suffer with this during perimenopause I wish we were taken more seriously. x
