I am almost certain I have Herpes:( please help

So about a week ago I started noticing that my genital region was feeling irritated. This is nothing new for me though. Ever since I started this new birth control sometime in January, right before I get my period, my vagina would feel irritated and a thicker dark substance would discharge. I just thought this was normal since I switched pills and was going to see if it continued. It did. I am living in Tennessee for the summer and decided that I would make an appointment to switch birth control because something was not right. I was also getting my period in the middle of my pack of pills which I read could be associated with chlamydia. Back to my current situation. I had recently had oral sex with someone who I was not real familiar with. About a week after I started noticing the irritation but got my period the next day. About two weeks later it came back. This time I decided to take a look and noticed bumps forming around my vagina. They are not painful in general or when I pee however they are irritated and get irritated the more I touch them. They are both in and around the vagina. I recently got a sore throat which I know can be a symptom of a herpes outbreak, every in general I have a low immune system and have been stressed with the thought of having herpes. I have a doctors appointment in a week but would like to prepare myself mentally for what is to come. Thank you for your help in advance.
