I am weaning myself off citroplam 10mg tabs as per the gp and I am having terrible stomach ache is this normal?

Getting sweats too but this could be the menopause

    Hi I had stomach cramps and found it worse if I had an empty stomach, it did get less and less over the days.

      Thanks I have managed a slice of toast last night and did feel bit better this morning now have headache lol have rang gp waiting for an answer I am determined to get off them but didn't expect this tearful anxious yes bt not the cramps and for ever running the loo! Hope all goes well for you too thanks fr answering

    I cut down from 10 to 5 to 2.5 over a few weeks, had headaches, dizzy spells, low moments, nausea, tummy cramps and tense jaw. Been off the pills now for a couple of weeks and now just have a low mood and dizziness and tense haw other symptons have hone. Hoping rest will leave soon. Good luck xx

    Angela, there is a good forum on withrawing from Citalopram which I think will help.  I came off them within 2 weeks and not free of them since January.  Very emotional but was like that on the pills!
