I APOLOGIZE TO ONE AND ALL

Earlier today I said something I should not have said with out more information.  I apologize to Billart for saying that his doctor lied to him. That was wrong of me. But that was only my opinion.  I feel very strong about men having to have there prostate cut out just to pee better when something less evasive would work the same.  Major surgery should never be the only opinion.  Now all you guys on here that have been to a doctor do know that 50 % of them do not tell you everything that is going to happen. Most of the time they tell you only what they feel you need to know or they just a void your question.  You get That rarely happens or I don't know what went wrong I'm the doctor and I know best.  But that is life.  We should never give up on our body's.  We should have second opinion before anything is done.  To many things are taking from us in life.  I have had my appendix, gallbladder part of my stomach taking out, Had the lift side of my heart burn away.  Still have a heart monitor in my chest.  These things I had no control over it.  But no doctor is going to tell me that I have to have my prostate cut away just to pee better.  That is where it stop.  I still can control that.  Life is to short to give up everything.  I will watch what I say and may god help us all  Ken

Ken has helped a lot of people in this forum.  If he stumbled on this one, we can forgive him.  I appreciate those on this forum who have educated me on the different choices we have to control BPH.  Some of us have an easy path and some do not.  But, in sharing our stories, we can help each other.  And, from my perspective, even if our choice is not optimum, maybe our experience will help our sons and grandsons get better treatment.

Agree with what you say about doctor's candor.  Thank God for forums like patient.info.  Good luck to you Kenneth.

Ken certainly is an asset to this forum. He is sincere and really cares about others that are deciding which of the many procedures available.

Ken - as all the others have said and feel, your apology is from the heart. All of us say things that we second guess and expressing that, makes us all feel good as we know it does for you. Keep up the great work.

Thank you Ted.  I try not to get to upset.  We all have our own concern.  But I don't want anyone to do anything that they have not researched or are ready for the out come.  God bless and I hope all work out for you  Ken
