I cant stop yawning for no reason

This all started a few hours ago, but it has never happened to me before and I think it might be serious. Last night, I got way over 8 hours of sleep and during the day, i didn't feel tired at all. But, all of a sudden, I started yawning and i couldn't stop.

I would breathe in deeply and I couldn't yawn. I felt intense pressure on my neck and throat, so I would keep breathing in until I finally yawned. But right after that, I would get a urge to yawn again and it kept continuing again and again. I was feeling so much pain i started crying. My mum told me to calm down, drink some water and go to the balcony to get some fresh air. I did both of these and nothing changed. I went out again, but it just kept getting worse. I'm really confused, what should i do?

I think you are experiencing an anxiety attack. You may also be hyperventilating. So sit down where you can be comfortable and close your eyes and listen to calming music or to a guided meditation/relaxation. Or try forcing yourself to do something that will take the focus off your body. Maybe go out for a walk or shopping.
