I discovered a red bump on my leg that appeared out of nowhere

I just discovered that I have a red bump on my lower inner thigh, that's about the size of my pinky finger. It doesn't hurt when I press on it, it's raised up , and it resembles a bright candy red color. When I press down on it, it doesnt change color. I only noticed it a few minutes ago, and I do not know what to do. I am probably going to see a doctor sometime soon, but I cannot be sure. Any possible answers are appreciated.

    sounds like a cherry angioma if u look on google tell me wat u think they are benign
