These past two months I've been feeling very unmotivated, I don't really know what is causing this to happen , school has been very hard lately and the teachers have been giving me a lot of work. It has been stressing me out so much! So much to the point that I don't want to go to school. I also wanted to do computer science but I have completely lost interest in everything I do, even outside of school I no longer want to go out with my friends and go to family occasions. I really need advice as to what I should do , anything to help would be fine !! Thanks

I don't know your age but it couldn't hurt to talk to someone. It sounds like depression but Im no doctor and thats who you need to see. If your family is supportive, speak to your parents or a trusted person that will listen and take you serious. If your old enough make an appointment and let the doctor decide your treatment. Im glad you took the step to post here and sorry you feel like you do. Depression in not talked about much because of the stigma about mental illness. It is real like any other disease it should be treated. The longer you wait you will probably feel worse. There is no shame in this as many feel and don't get treated. I hope this helps and you get help and feel better soon. Post again anytime. We are here to help each other and welcome you to come anytime to ask questions or vent.

See a good psychatrist would be a good start. Maybe find a new pastime like selling stuff on eBay as its quite suprising what you can find if you look around. Ive brought stuff for a £1 and sold it for £140, but that does not happen every day. I make about £15-£20 per sale. It could possibly be a new interest for you and it will get you out. If you can make a bit of money out of it it could boost your confidence a bit. Also if you can master eBay selling it could be the difference bettween you getting your next job. As most retailers now sell on eBay.

First and fore most I'm sorry about all this trouble you're having. I myself go through these periods as well. It's like you're waking up day after day and you find yourself not caring and instead of getting scared you pull into yourself more and more. Try talking to a school counselor about this honey. It'll do you so much good. And keep a journey about what you feel, what you think, how your day goes by, and your aspirations - you know like your goals in life. Keep a journal just to think out loud. I hope you feel better

Thank you very much for the reply !
I spoke with one of the other guys in my class today about what I have been going through, he is really good help and has great advice
I have not yet talked to my school about it, but I think I'm going to wait until I see my GP first to see if I actually have depression.
