I don’t understand my herpes test, help ?

I recently got tested for hsv 2, my test results were 0.90... which says its negative on some websites and also says it means it’s positive... I’m confused, help explain please.

    it looks like it says negative, as it has the "negative". and it looks like it says a "1.09" means a positive. but im not completly sure

      Right, it looks negative from the results but my doctor reached out and said I'm positive and I think its a mistake... I haven't had any symptoms and the last time I had sex was in May, If i was exposed I would know by now right?

    i got the same exact result. you're in the "equivical" zone which does not indicate a positive. you should get tested again in 4-6 weeks. do you have a date of exposure?

      My doctor finally responded to me and said that I'm positive which I don't think so, it has to be a mistake. I don't have any symptoms and I don't think my results show that I am. I haven't had sex since May and if I was exposed then I would know by now right?
