I experience nausea when I don't eat in the morning, but when I do the nausea goes away.

So I have experienced nausea when I wake up if I don’t eat almost immediately for a very long time . I recently became a pescatarian (I don’t eat red meat or poultry) but this has been happening for way longer than that. I’m 5’6” and about 117 pounds. I used to weigh about 125 but I lost weight and was 113 at my lowest but it eventually evened back out. I started to lose weight when I became a pescatarian but again I’ve experienced nausea for a very long time. I don’t drink any soda and water is my drink of choice 99% of the time. I don’t eat many sweets either. I experienced headaches often but they don’t coincide with the hunger. I don’t find it hard to not eat throughout the day but in the morning I experienced the nausea. I’m wondering what all of this could mean.

Someone in my family has this same problem. They don't have any answers yet. Interested in what it means. Hope you are feeling better!

It happens to me off and on. After keeping a diary I kind of found a weak correlation with bloated (gas) feeling and nausea. My GP told me that pressure of gas in the stomach can cause nausea. So I did 2 things. Specific Yoga postures in the morning before I eat and Ginger powder in my Tea or drink Ginger Lemon tea. So far so good. Hope this helps a little,

Might be diet change that has caused the nausea.  Sometimes this can upset your stomach.
