I feel my brain shaking when I brush my teeth or move my head up and down???

Hi all, this is a bit of a weird one and I can't seem to find any luck online of what this could be. I feel a sensation of my brain shaking when I bob my head up and down, run, brush my teeth and its starting to concern me. I do suffer with anxiety, but I think I'd be able to tell if it was anxiety related as I can literally feel the inside of my skull shaking. I also have been feeling rather drowsy lately, foggy headed and a little detached from reality.

I am on the medication Fluoxetine and have been on that for just over a year now, so it wouldn't be a side effect of just starting that medication. I have been drinking rather heavy lately if that can be a factor to this, but I am now putting a stop to that as it is causing most of the issues I'm facing in my life. If anyone knows what this sensation could be or could be linked to, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

    Hi Witcher,

It could be a mixture of medication, anxiety and heavy drinking, best to discuss it with your doctor for a professional opinion.

I have experienced the 'detached from reality' symptoms you describe which is called Depersonalization or Derealization.

Mine was a combination of Chronic Anxiety and Medication.

    Best Wishes

    Peace 🙏
