i feel the need to sit on a cornetto

hey all

well today is day 6 post surgery for a&p repair , all been okish you know but yesterday and today i just feel so swollen and sore, i could hapilly ait on a cornetto to find relief! (cold make it feel better) awful heavy dragging feeling when i walk

is this normal? i have literally been in bed since getting home, havent done anything i shouldnt, once a day i walk up and down staira and have tea with everyone

thought might start feeling better by now not worse

    Hi. I replied to your other post mosnippy and yes it's perfectly normal. Remember you've had major surgery so listen to your body and just do a little bit at a time

      thanks mayton put my mind at ease

      although today had a set back woke up nauseas with diarrhea so bad had to take immodiums, didnt eat all day finally manage to eat at about 5 then i got chills and fever, manage to bring it down

      not sure if i should be concerned, now when i go to loo struggling to wee a little and its a bloody liquid when wipe? uti?

      just finished antibiotics they sent me home with should i be going to dr tomorrow?

      Sometimes the first course of antibiotics doesn't always clear an infection. Definitely see your doctor because if you've had diarrhoea the most recent doses will not have been absorbed.

      my antibiotics finished on sunday it was only 3 day dose

      will be phoning dr this morning thank you
