I fell and got a Femoral Neck Fracture. They had to use screws to pin it. Pain won’t stop.

i fell and fractured the bone attached to the ball in my hip. they pinned it together and it healed. i was not allowed to put any weight on that leg for six weeks. the excruciating pain now is unbearable..I go to physical therapy. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PAIN PROBLEM.

    o no, that's terrible. i know what it's like to not bear weight on a leg-did it for 19 weeks! but I'm not familiar with a fracture from a fall, just infections after thr.

    I had my thigh pinned with. 3 screws into the neck of my femur just over 3 months ago. Sorry to hear of your pain although I never experienced too much of it post surgery. No, your joint hasnt healed yet, it wont fully heal for a least two years before you get total fusion!!! The surgery may have been a success as in aligning of the joint. I couldnt start rehab until week six after surgery and the specialist gave the go ahead. I had an xray last week and it shows the beginnings of new bone formation( healing) so I am happy about that. Now Im walking around with a walking stick but treading carefully. I do get tired and I can feel the muscles tightening up. I would go back to my surgeon/ specialists regarding your pain,as this doesnt sound normal to me. Best wishes.
