I have been diagnosed as hypothyroid and have been taking thyroxine and/or liothyronine for two years. I always feel ill and very breathless. I cannot lose weight no matter how little I eat. I think there needs to be more research into this condition.

    HI MY NAME IS JULIE iv suffered from thyroid trouble since i was 19 years old i am now 43 at first my thyroid was over active i was treated for years with no effect then i had radio active iodine after that i was put on thyroxine i have been fine for years now all of a sudden i have started to gaine waight but my gp says im fine all of my life i have struggled to keep weight on now i cant seem, to keep it off please help if you can julie
