I have been taking atorvistatin now for several years and my practice is trying desperately to get me on to simvastatin.

I believe this to be purely cost based. Can anyone please tell me if sim is better than ator?

    Sorry, I meant I have been taking Atorvistatin and my practice trying to get me on to Simvastatin!

    Atorvastatin is 'better' at lowering Cholesterol than Simvastatin, (generally speaking) they put you on it when Simvastatin isn't lowering it enough smile

    Oh redface cheesygrin Simvastatin is cheaper but maybe your Cholesterol is too low or just right now smile
