I had been on Chlordiazepoxide for over 10 years. It works for Anxiety problems which were are not too severe but when the pressure is really on I take to the to the bottle as well. Chlordiazepoxide in itself is not the answer for more serious conditions, but you only find out by taking it to see?

When coming off the drink I was advised to cut down on the units and massively increase the Chor........ dose (20 the first day) and gradually reduce both. This worked for me but I still need the medication for continuing problems and do occasionally laps into the alcohol. Although I've learnt how to come off months of boozing at a time, I still take the medication long-term. Even the slight help it gives is welcome.

Chlordiazepoxide makes small amounts of alcohol less effective and when combining the two you feel the need for more and more.[/b]
