The first surgery was aug 8 2013 and the Dr. removed blockage and 20 inches of small intestine. My next surgery was at OHSU in Portland and the Dr removed 36 tumors gulbladder and moved things around. He said the cancer had gone to my liver inside 72% of my liver was consumed with carcinoid and he not going to mess with it. I would like to chat with some one who has carcinoid cancer to see what my future is going to be.

Hi Valorie,  Well you seem to be in a pretty bad way and I wont be able to help you.  You are much more advanced than I.  I hope someone else from here will come forward and help. You'd be better to go to the Macmillan Cancer Support forum.  They are solely cancer and of all types and stages and then there's Beating Bowel Cancer forum, also strictly cancer. Both these sites will be able to help. Cancer Research also has questions and answers forum.

When you say Portland, is that Portland Oregon and where are you now?

Wish you some satisfaction. Don't despair there are other forums that can help because they are much bigger.  Godbless, Daffs

Larry08623, it might be better if you make your own discussion as a new one then it's more likely people will see it and be able to help. Especially as this discussion is very old. I only happened to stumble across this one by looking for something in particular.
