I have HSV2. Can my partner perform oral sex on me?

I have hsv2 genital herpes. I havent had sexual relations since I found out but I just really want to know. Can my partner perform oral sex on me? Will he catch it? Would he catch the coldsores or the genital? I have done so much research and I can not find the answer to this question. I really like this guy and I just want to know if we can really have everything included in the intimacy package. Your comments are really greatly appreciated. Thank you.
