    Have you been on antibiotics for awhile? According to the website "Glans fungus" great detail is given which may help you figure out what is causing your problem. Some pictures are shown which may help you identify. Good luck.

    I think you need the help of a Dermatologist to find out what this is .....

    Dear xyz,

    Three conditions spring to mind and all of them will require a skin specialist to confirm:

    1. Psoriasis: usually raised and scaly plaques and would be associated with psoriatic plaques and lesions in other parts of the body especially the elbows, knees, natal cleft, nails.
    2. Lichen planus: itchy, purplish patches; other lesions found on wrists, elbow, inside mouth, lower back and also nail changes.
    3. Third possibility is a drug reaction. Are you on any meds? Did it start after starting new meds?

    Have you been diagnosed with either 1 or 2 in the past? If so, then likely to be the same condition but manifesting itself on the penis.

    You should seek further help from your family doctor or a dermatologist.
