I'm 18 years old and female, and recently I've been experiencing cramps all over my stomach. They can be sharp or weak and usually last for about a few seconds to a minute and I experience them 1-2 times a day. They don't bother me much, and only affect one area of the stomach at the time. Sometimes when I've had pains in my lower stomach I've pressed the part that hurts and found that it hurts when pressed. I don't know if it has anything to do with it, but I've always been someone who goes between light stools and constipation (maybe more light stools now), but I've never had pains like these until summer this year. I feel gassy at times too.
I like to think this isn't anything serious, but what if it is? Do I need to see a doctor?

I'm no doctor and I'm sorry this is happening but it sounds like irritable bowel syndrome. do you feel worse after eating? do certain foods make it worse? definitely worth going to see a doctor for.
