i have suffered from piles for 2 years now. Recently i had them banded and the doctor told me i would have some bleeding and feel pain after. 3 days on and none of those symptoms have appeared. Wondering if the banding has worked?

I had haemorrhoids, after childbirth, and tried everything the doctor suggested to rid myself of this painful condition, but notthing worked and I was in constant pain.

Finally, an old doctor suggested ice cubes, wrapped in a piece of cotton material... voila! Cured!

I went on to have two more children and never had any more problems!

I had three of mine banded, never again! All three were done at the same time and the Dr caught one of them with the band making it burst....wow if I knew that was a possibility I wouldnt have had it done.I have had injections 4 times but nothing has helped.Ive suffered for 10 years.

In that ten years ive never been able to go on a bus, walk more than 50 yards etc,and now for the past 8 weeks i havent been able to get out of the house,I can barely walk, yet i still have to have private treatment as my Dr will not refer me on the NHS.

Ive recently heard about the Halo proceedure, does anyone have much info on this? Or no someone whos had it done?

    Thanks.

How many times in a day you put ice on your haemorrhoids ? Is that hurt?
