I would report the person emailing you!  They are obviously scammers!

yeye, I agree with TCake, ignore such emails and report it to the moderators.

I'm so sorry that your eGFR has dropped so much recently. Have you been taking any new medicines that could cause this or perhaps become diabetic - I assume you do have your blood sugars checked from time to time?

I'm sure Helen will be along soon to help you from her vast experience - she is certainly a very valuable member of this forum......we're so lucky to have her.

There are various scams regarding magic cures for kidney disease and treatment that claims to  dramatically improve your kidney function. Unfortunately many of them are scams especially the ones that originate from China and i would steer well clear, they appear to be backed and funded by the chinese government which is all the more worrying. There is no cure for chronic kidney disease and any kind of treatment is geared towards controlling the symptoms via a healthy diet and medication to treat the complications ie. anaemia and hypertension as the disease progresses. Ignore these so called specialist hospitals which claim to have a cure for chronic kidney disease, as there is really no such thing.

    Hi,

With that drop if you were in the UK they would start asking what type of dialysis you would like to do, not necessarily start straight away it depends how well you feel.  This is a discussion for you and your dr though I can't tell you that info, you will need to have the discussion.  I think you have said you would like to try PD so you can still work etc so speak with your dr about your wishes and remember if it doesn't suit you should be able to change.
