Hi All:

I finally got to come home from rehab, they didn't want to let me go yet but I kind of demanded. I guess I still have a case of asperation pneumonia, but the cough is getting better. I am on antibiotics still for it. Is nice to be home and feels good to be able to move about a little more. Thanks for all of the kind words and thoughts. It's been a rough week but I am doing pretty good. I have missed all of you and hope that everyone is doing ok. Sending hugs and blessings.....Barb

Thanks Annette...yes I did bring the spirometer home to breathe in. I didn't do it today but promise I will be back on it tomorrow. Yep upright is way better and one reason I insisted on going home. They would give me about 1 hour of physical therapy a day and the rest of the time I just sit or lay there. I knew that I needed to be up and moving more. A little past midnight and I have been up for about an hour. Getting ready to go lay back down again..Night....Hugs....Barb

      Aww thank you renee:

Yes I am able to do my exercises. Yes I am on blood thinning injections, and will be on them through the 27th. Yes the cough can be painful. Funny I don't cough all the time, sometimes it feels like it is all gone and then the next thing you know I am back at it again. I really appreciate all of your kindness....feeling the rays of healing. Bless you....Hugs Barb

Aww Laura bless your heart. Sounds like you are having a way tougher time than I have. For me this time the actual hip part was way easier, better than the first one. If it had not been for asperating during surgery I would say I had a fantastic surgery. Hope you are feeling better soon and the pain eases. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs....Barb

Thanks Fernlady. I seem to be doing pretty good. Of course pretty sore still only  10 days post op. Actually as far as the hip part goes I am doing way better with this one than the first one. Moving easier, way faster than last time (can already get in and out of my bed). and way less pain. If it hadn't been for the other problem happening I would have been doing excellent.. Hugs...Barb
