    Hi Bailey

    Poor You.

Have you seen a rheumatologist ? Ask your GP to refer you for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) its a mindfulness thought process to help you deal with your pains. Staying can and positive and also stress-free are the other main key factors.  I don't take meds but have been suffering for over 20 yrs with pains but only diagnosed Aug 2014 with Fibromyalgia.

Hope you will find answers from others on this form. You are not alone.

    Gentle hugs wink x

Hi Bee70 thank you for your reply, I have only seen the doctor today And had blood tests done, they gave me pain medication, I refused antidepressants, because I don't want to get hooked on anything like that

so I'm waiting for the results now....

Hi Bailey, some antidepressants are used for pain relief. They are not addictive so I wouldn't dismiss them out of hand for pain relief or depression if you are depressed. As Bee says, Rheumatologist and pain clinic are your way forward. Good luck. Gentle hugs. xx
