I'm just starting Zoloft

So I went to the doctor today and he gave me Zoloft, I heard from my friend that her mum was on it and made her go a little funny. Does it work for you guys or should I go back and get him to give me something else?!

Everyone handles medication differently, it's not a one size fits all type of thing. You're better off following your doctor's advice, and see how you do on Zoloft. If it doesn't suit you, the doctor can give you something different. It can take 4-6 weeks for the medication to fully be in your system. During this time you might get some of the side effects, but be patient and ride it out. It's truly the only way to know if Zoloft or any other meds work for you.

Searching the Internet for health symptoms, and medication reviews only makes things worse. More people are apt to leave a review if they have a complaint, and less likely to leave a review if the product is good.
