I'm scared! HELP! Anyone! I am desperate!

O my god!....How is this happening? I GOT re-tested for HSV2 as back in January I tested positive on an IGG test with 1.91. I am waiting in the results.
I have only been sexually active with my ex-husband and he tested negative and I think there is a good chance he got a false negative IF I get a positive result again because it had NOT been 3 months from the time he last cheated and then got tested.
We are fighting for custody of our two young children. Now it looks like I was cheating as well, everything I have said about him is going to be undermined by the courts. PLEASE! If there is anyone out there that can help me. I have a lawyer but he his not going to ask for him to get re-tested IF I test positive again. I don't understand why. I know you don't know me but I am the most honest person you will ever meet and I cannot understand how this is happening. HELP!

P.S. Your ex may not test positive for HSV2 because he may not actually have it and neither may you. Your score is not a strong positive at all and definitely falls within the "needs further confirmation" range if: (1) you have pre-existing HSV1; and (2) you tested positive for HSV2 by HerpeSelect IgG.

Well, FelizCastus. Thank you for your support. I got my results back today from the re-test on of HSV2 and it came back negative. There was a signidicant difference in numbers. I tested under 0.90 on the IGG test so my first test in January was a false positive. On the downside though my lawyer withdrew from my case just 6 days before the trial because I dared to have opinions of my own case. I'm not sure what I will do now seeing as I cannot afford another lawyer but I will NOT give up.
Thanks again.

I'm sorry to hear about your legal difficulties, but that's good news about your second IgG test. Lucky, in fact! It's not uncommon for the same test kit to return the same results. Good luck!
