I need opinions, I think I might have herpes

So a few weeks ago I was sexually active with this guy, I didnt really want to have sex with him but he did it anyway. After that I felt a little itchy and I thought it was just a yeast infection so I took a pill for it. Im still a little itchy but no sores or anything down there. Just today I woke up with a really bad sore throat. I looked at it and there are some white (what it looks like) pimples on my tonsils and from what i can see, Im there are some on the very back of my throat. Plus there is one just on my gums. So I dont really think it is strep... Please give honest answers on what it is? I am so paranoid. Im going to the doctors

Did you kiss him or give / participate in oral sex ?

You should ask him if he has had any past experiences with cold sores .. Or anything involving that nature ..,

Even more so you should just go get checked out . Is it painful or anything ?

He said he does get cold sores. My throat does hurt. It literally just happened over night that it started to hurt

YES I would definitely go to the doctor to get that checked out , possible he could've given you the HSV 1 virus .,

It's not the worst one. But you don't want to he surprised about anything ..

He isn't diagnosed with anything I take it ?

HSV-1 isnt the one Im worried about, Im worried about HSV-2. Like I said, Im very paranoid.

I figured if you had type 2 you would be getting bumps and stuff on your genitals .. From experience I can tell you that.

I agree with you I would much rather have type one then type 2.

Type 2 is way to complicated .

If anything you would have type 1 on your genitals if he gave you oral

      Well, don't say that...

I have hsv1 down there and it is my forth outbreak since I have been diagnosed, 2 and a half months ago...and very bad ones!

Got diagnosed with type 2 on December 15th .., had one outbreak and haven't had one since but I think I might be getting one . No idea . I'm so unfamiliar with this .

If you are getting them so much why don't you go on suppressive medicine ?

      I am abroad...

Here it is super hard to see a doctor and when you do, you have to beg for what you want!!

I saw the doctor when I had my first outbreak and they don't give suppressive therapy at your first outbreak...so now I'm on a wait list to see the doctor again...
