so i slept with this guy and i think he gave me herpes. i got a fever and sore throat a couple of days ago and thought it was corona but that test came back negative. i did not notice my vagina hurting because i had my period, so i thought it was just a period symptom. my period ended and my vagina still hurts so i grabbed a mirror to look and i saw these white dots and there is a lot of discharge. i googled it and it said herpes. i have no clue what to do and i really can not tell my parents.

also my mom made me schedule one of those online appointments with a doctor. i took a pic of my throat and on my tonsils were the same white marks. the doctor said it looked like strep and prescribed me with AMOX-CLAV 875 mg. will this help it go away?

From what I see, it could possibly be herpes, BUT since you mentioned you had the same white dots in your throat, it could be something bacterial like strep. You will have to visit an OBGYN to be 100% sure. Your parents may be upset with you for a second, but I promise they will be more worried about your health. You can just tell them you have a problem "down there" and want to visit a doctor. The faster you visit a doctor, the sooner you can feel better. Good luck ❤️

You said that you have sore throat. Do you have also ulcers in your throat or on your mouth? If yes you probably caught hsv type 1 if it actually is herpes! Oral HSV 2 infections are very rare!
