I have been talking to this girl who I am falling for, she knows about my situation because I told her from the start. We haven't had sex yet and I'm scared too. I'm afraid she will get it too if we do, but I haven't had an out break in a month and 1 week now I don't feel itchy or tingly down there at all but yet I'm still scared she would get it if we do have sex. And I don't know what to do. Please info me on some advice.

Well I also told my bf from the start and he said he wasn't worried. He did have some questions which I answered honestly. We waited a little while and then we had sex with a condom. We are very happy with one another and we love each other and he decided that he was comfortable enough to not use a condom any more we just don't have sex when I have an outbreak. I told him about before we went on our first date. I was just more comfortable with him knowing what he was getting himself into I guess. We had been talking for a while but hadn't went out or anything yet. My hsv2 isn't an issue in my relationship. There are honestly alot of people out there that will accept it. You just have to find them. Good luck to you! Don't be scared. Just make sure you guys are both comfortable first. You may even ask them if they'd like to speak to your doctor with you so they can explain things a little better.

If you use a condom and take daily therapy, your chance of passing it is about 8%.

i would suggest a condom. more then anything its still very early days in your relationship so you should be using one anyhow. but if she knows and understands your situation them she should be good about using a condom, and make sure there is always a couple of them in your wallet as we all know the honeymoon period you start with can result in sex anywhere at any time!!

Is as much as a risk as it is kissing people w oral herpes. You just need to pay attention to your body and to help limit the risk, take daily meds for suppression.
