Sorry to here that you have IBS nearly half the worlds population suffers from it.

You have to go to Doctors /Bowel Specialist / Dietitian / ultra sound and ct scan done.

    You should be on some medication, i take colese 1 x 2 a day - nexium 1 x 2 a day up to 2/8 a day of buscopan.

I have had IBS for years it gets so bad i have to stop eating, good way to lose weight?

Most times i am sort of okay but i eat only small and healthy meals. Some say it is the type of food we eat, my new Doctor says its can be of a type of bug in our stomach and if we dont chew our food properly it cause our stomach mussels to work harder to process it propertly,in a sense they dont really know.

Most days are okay but i still have slight pain in my tummy also i have a extended  one sometimes sore if the cats walk on me.

Do plenty of research and puss you Doctor for all the help.

    Good luck Tina. Alexander.

Hi thanks, sorry I didn't say what's been done already, I have tried buscapan, peppermint oil and mebevarine, nothing helps so stopped them. I've had pelvic ultrasound, blood tests, abdominal ultrasound, internals a few times I've been to gastro who says it's ibs but done no tests there, I have another appointment with gastro in October as I keep complaining to docs,

    Hi tina

i have suffered ibs for 20 years and until recently have discovered a link between food allergy and ibs. Food allergy scan start of your ibs so I payed to have the York test and the results proved worthwhile for me. It showed I have an allergy to yeast and since I stopped eating bread and other yeast based products my stomach cramps have all but disappeared. It cost about £300 but for me was worth every penny. It's a simple blood test and it may or may not help
