MY ibs started at beginning of peri so it’s maybe menopause related but my anxiety makes it worse and that also started at beginning of peri and I burp all time but that’s to do with anxiety 😔

Hi Sarah , Have lots of sympathy for you I also suffer from IBS  the pain is constant down my left hand side The only thing I feel helps is paracetamol and anti acid tablets . I have had different medications from GP but with no great success ! Bloating is reduced if I watch my dIet.

I am totally with you on this issue   ! Hugs Elaine

I had tablets from GP too which didnt help initially but I tried them again after I was told that they dont kick in straight away and they helped enormously.

IBS is definetly menopausal related I have good days and bad and it can be very debilitating too

      Good luck ladies.....
