i also do not have insurance, i went to urgent care. call around where you live and ask if they do genital herpes swab testing. It cost me $300. $100 to see doctor and $200 for them to swab. They do asses you first and tell you what they think it is then they will swab you. you also might be able to go to the hosp and they will swab as well i believe but that is expensive i think. hope everything turns out fine!!

      hey!

not sure if you come back here or not. I went to the health department today and they will do a swab test! Tell them you are showing symptoms, it takes about 3 weeks give or take they said. It was free of cost for me with no insurance so you should be the same!!!!

It looks like it may be, but get swab tested to be on the safe side . I have it and what i have notice that works with subsiding the symptoms fast is to ignore it. Dont stress ... stressing makes it worse, clean it but gently{ i know it burns 😦 }, stay dry, so it can dry out. DO NOT PUT ANY MEDICATION LIKE NEOSPORIN OR ANYTHING ... it will only keep it moist and it feels like it takes longer. There are some creams you can use for pain, cortisone, aloe vera, or steroid creams( be careful with steroid cream though). Remember stress makes it worse. I hardly get symptoms because i stress less about it and when i get it... i wear cotton under wear that are loose dry and comfy.
