    Hey Pinky73

Im so glad you are starting to feel better.....lets hope it continues for you. How long have you been on the flu for now?

I was on 20mgs for around 5 weeks then up to 40mgs 2 weeks ago... still feeing pretty rough...good days and bad days as you probably know! I know this is not a quick fix but it does seem to be dragging on now!! Still, i live in hope!

    :D Hey Pinky,

I,m so pleased to here that you are feeling a lot better as I am too :D

Seemed to have hit week 6 feeling a lot more in control lately ( hope it lasts)

Have been through some pretty rough times lately so heres hoping that this is the light at a very long and dark tunnel :?

Have splashed out on some new clothes and dyed my hair so now I get up in the mornings wondering what to put on instead of staying in bed thinking whats the point :D

I still log on to this site ( seem to be addicted) to see how everyone is getting on and I wish everyone well and Happy days :D

    Lots of love

Hi All.Thanks for your replies.I have been taking the Flu know since beginning November last year. Before that I was taking it for around 4 1/2 years.I have had a few traumas in my life(Haven't we all!!!).It all got a bit much and I reluctantly went to my GP knowing that I would end up on meds cus once I got in the surgery and broke down she would think I was completely mad.I use this term loosely as I actually know I am mad and should have been on meds years ago.I will not go into detail about what goes on in my head but if the Dr knew she would have me locked up smile Anyhow,I gave in and started taking the Flu and I think, like alot of others,I felt like a failure.I felt as if I had given in and I was weak.If anything I felt alot worse going on it at first. It finally kicked in around 6-8 weeks and I never looked back for the next 4-5 years. It saw me through some bad times and I dont think I would still be here without it!!Anyhow I decided to come off it and struggled for around 1 1/2 without it.I finally went back on it and I expected to feel better alot sooner thatn this but I can honestly say I have had some very dark moments to say the least.Thank God for this site.Anyhow enough waffling. On a positive note I am feeling ALOT better now.I am getting out of bed in the morning, getting jobs done around the house, laughing, been out once or twice, although I think I am too bloody old for that clubbing lark!!.I am in a GOOD place and I am going to try and stay here.Believe me you lot will here about it if I dont. Thanks again fellow suffers.Bless you all.Hope you are all in a GOOD place too.Love P xxx
